we exist to help people pursue
Our Life with God
As followers of Jesus we first and foremost pursue a life centered on a person, on the Creator of the universe, on God Himself. When we properly adjust our live to worship, and posture toward the One who is most brilliant, creative, powerful, beautiful, and loving, it is then we are most happy and fulfilled. In light of who Jesus is and what He did on our behalf, we have been given a new identity. We are adopted children of God! With this new identity comes a new way of being. It also means new practices and rhythms where we deepen our understanding of worship and of who Jesus is and what He has done. This looks like worshipping and praising God together corporately and in smaller groups. It means praying and calling out to the Father and listening to Him. Reading the Scriptures to hear His voice, and learning who He is, and reminding ourselves that our identity grows and is confirmed when we are living life in constant communion and connection with the Father, when we pursue a Life with God.
Our Life Together
As Christians we are called to live life in relationship with one another, serving one another, and helping one another and our children grow in a relationship with Jesus. Because of our faith in Jesus' life, death, and resurrection, we have gained entrance into a forever family; we gain brothers and sisters (other sons and daughters) that live life alongside us and for us. Therefore we pray for one another, provided for one another's needs, listen to one another, play together, watch the big game together, eat together, celebrate and mourn together. You can't program family, it's our new identity, it's who we are. Unfortunately even though our culture is more connected than ever - people are lonelier than ever. As Christ’s body we realize that there are no “Lone Rangers” in the Kingdom of God, and we are committed to be a church where people can do life together.
Our Life On Mission
We pursue lives on intentional mission by seeking to discover and live out our call to be disciples who make disciples. We do this by discovering, and then living our our personal ministry within the body of Christ, and by having a deep commitment to reach outside the walls of our church. We do this by serving in our community, in our neighborhoods, and in the world by engaging every domain of society for Christ; education, social services, government, the medical field, even business, wherever people are in the world, we want to engage them with the love of Jesus. Additionally, a regular rhythm and pattern of our gathering corporately and as small groups, will involve engaging our community on mission to fulfill our mandate to make disciples of all nations. We are convinced that Jesus Christ came to bring redemption and deliverance to all dimensions of life. We believe that each of us is called to live our Life on Mission for God as His church and as we go about our day to day lives.
